Handout by images

This handout has been designed as a support to the course "How to correctly complete the new electronic register” for the language school Studio Italia, based in Budapest, Hungary. The aim of the course is to train language teachers in the use of the new electronic register so that it becomes a source of knowledge shared among school teachers.

The handout consists of 7 pages, the first of which is simply the front page. The second page shows the global index of the 4 fundamental steps, with the elements to consider when inserting a new language activity in the electronic register. The following pages explain the 4 necessary steps in more detail. The handout presents a succession of simple text elements, concise and accessible, accompanied by infographics and charts, which illustrate in more detail, in a visual way, the four steps necessary to carry out the process correctly.

The handout meets the learning needs of the first 3 Course Learning Objectives illustrated in the Instructional Design Document:

  1. Identify the general typology of the activities brought to the classroom, based on a comprehensive list of possible activities, and identify the target language themes focused in each activity.

  2. Correctly record essential items in the register, such as the materials necessary to the activities.

  3. Correctly describe the learning phase to which each single activity corresponds (presentation, practice, guided production, free production, review).

The creation of this handout has been a process of great personal learning, because it has allowed me to gain valuable experience in the use of an essential tool such as canva.com, fundamental in the work of every Instructional Designer.
