Digital Media Checklist
For the evaluation of the Open Education Resources

The Internet provides countless more or less free resources for teaching and learning. To orient yourself in the sea of available resources, it is essential to follow criteria in order to evaluate these resources in terms of relevance for teaching, accuracy of the information contained and the form in which they are expressed, technical quality of the resource, its accessibility and the engagement it can create in the learner. In the latest version of the checklist was added a section dedicated to the ADA compliance and the accessibility for handicapped people
These are the focal points on whom the checklist I have created and which I use in assessing OER focuses on. The practical application of this checklist was effective and allowed me to have a general but precise idea of the overall adequacy of the assessed teaching material.
In particular, given the conciseness of the numbers expressed, it is essential to leave ample space for writing and adding personal notes and comments, especially if the evaluation checklist will be shared with other people.
