Learning Management System chosen

I chose to use Talent LMS as Learning Management System on which to implement and deliver the project. In fact, the aim of the course is to enable the teachers of a private language school to acquire knowledge and skills in the use of a particular IT tool (an electronic register). Therefore, although the course will be delivered inside a school system, the purposes are much closer to those of the corporate world rather than the academic one, similar to those of "skills training" for company employees. Talent LMS responds optimally to this need.
The course requires the use of teaching materials, individual and collective activities, training and performance-based summative assessments. The materials used will include OERs identified on the internet (in particular videos from YouTube and articles from specialized magazines and websites), handouts, infographics and PDFs as well as original videos and podcasts produced by me.
Furthermore, Talent LMS offers, as in general is typical for an LMS, the possibility for the instructor to interact directly with the students through private messages, but above all it offers the possibility for the recipients of the course to work and discuss with each other. Given the Constructivist theoretical-methodological basis, ample space will be dedicated to the interaction between students and their comparison. Some tools specific to the chosen LMS will therefore be used extensively, in particular to manage group activities, such as the Discussion tool and the forums.
